ABOUT THE CLUB
The Club is an affiliate of the Returned and Services League of Australia (New South Wales Branch) and of the New South Wales RSL Youth Council and we are bound by the constitutions of these bodies.
The aims of the Club are to:
afford youth of the district the opportunity of participating in clean healthy recreation;
instruct youth in principles of good citizenship;
inculcate an appreciation in youth of the need for observance of laws of State and Commonwealth;
encourage music, literature, art and physical education among youth, particularly those who by reason of circumstances might otherwise be unable to enjoy such benefits; and
awaken citizens to their responsibility toward adolescents.
We are non-sectarian and non-political and we associate with and assist similar bodies working towards the same ends.
The Club is based in Letitia Street, Oatley in the southern suburbs of Sydney alongside the Georges River.
MEMBERSHIP
Ordinary Membership is open to people up to 25 years of age.
Associate Membership is open to people over the age of 25.
Associate members, and Ordinary members aged 16 or over are eligible to attend meetings and vote.
ACTIVITIES
The Club presently has 3 Divisions:
Netball
Football
Gymsports
PARTICIPATION IN OTHER EVENTS
The members of the Club participate in the commemoration of ANZAC Day at Oatley RSL and in the city and of Remembrance Sunday later in the year.
